Music fuels the soul

I know that if there is ever a time that I need to relax, get hype, or even fall asleep, there is always a song to match my mood.410fa8a4304fa051054ed2b481957340

I love music and it’s creative art form because there is so much that you can do with it from using different instruments, creating your own beats, to writing the words behind the music, and having the ability to reach people of all kind with your own creation is an amazing feeling. For a person like myself, I enjoy all kinds of music! I play my gospel on Sunday mornings riding to church, I blast rap music or “trap” music as they call it on Friday nights when i’m getting ready to party, and of course that good ole’ R&B music when I feel like singing my heart out, and so on.. Music is so universal that it works for me and however I am feeling at the time.

Feelings aroused by the touch of someone’s hand, the sound of music, the smell of a flower, a beautiful sunset, a work of art, love, laughter, hope and faith – all work on both the unconscious and the conscious aspects of the self, and they have physiological consequences as well.” – Bernie Siegel

Ah! Bernie you hit it on the nose with this quote. It’s amazing how we are truly moved by so many different things. These things that influence our mind, body, and soul, which is why I believe music is a valuable aspect of our lives that we should not take for granted. We should Listen to music that will inspire us, lead us, and make us feel on top of the world… The work it does will show on it’s on!

Woman on the move!
